64 members played on a superb warm and sunny day at Mullion Golf Club. The competition was played in teams of 4 with 2 scores to count in conjunction with the usual Individual Pro event.
The team of Mark Hutchings, Neil Hodding, Duncan Maclennan and Malcolm Edmunds from the West Cornwall Club returned a great 92 points to take the team prize ahead of Paul Turpin, Spike Drew, Dave Holland and Alan McColl in 2nd place on 87
Nick Rogers from Falmouth took the individual Pro award with an excellent 2 under par round
with Paul Turpin on level par, runner up
Wilf Hutchinson, the Mullion Captain, welcomed the Alliance and presented the prizes. PGA Alliance Captain Grant Slater thanked the club for hosting the event, commenting that the course had been presented in great condition with hospitality first rate.
The next event will take place at Tehidy Park Golf Club on Thursday 26th October.
