54 Members played the opening event of the season on a bright and sunny day. Russell Binney had a good day winning the pairs with Gary Hooper and sharing top spot with Grant Slater and Scott Richards in the Individual Professional award. The pairs was a very close result with last 9 count back deciding the 2nd, 3rd ,4th and 5th placings all achieving 41 points. George Tenby (the Point Captain) welcomed the Alliance to the club and wished them a succesful season. Dan Wood (the Alliance Vice Captain) thanked the club for hosting the event stating the course was enjoyed by all and in superb condition. The catering and hospitality at the club was excellent.
